MidState Medical Center, which serves the Meriden, Wallingford, Cheshire and Southington markets, launched its new website to the public in early October. The website was more than a year in the making, and boasts a new design as well as many new functional features.
In-House Marketing LLC, of Litchfield, is MidState’s agency. They worked closely with MidState to frame the new site so that it met the long terms goals of the hospital. After an RFP process, Conquest Consulting, of Avon, was chosen to develop the site and teamed up with IHM on all aspects of function, design, and content.
A goal of the new site is to help connect visitors with clinical information and services. Simple, easy to use site navigation is one of the features of the site, with easy to follow drop down menus.
Among the homepage features are a news feed, a complete calendar of events with links to registration, and links to video content, including a tour of MidState’s newly expanded Emergency Department and patient pavilion. The Emergency Department is one of a number of facility expansions that are featured in an advertising campaign, released in conjunction with the new website. |
